Selected as one of the top 30 young professionals from almost 300 applicants to participate in the first ever ‘Digital Skills Certificate Program’ from Wilfrid Laurier University and in partnership with Conestoga College, the City of Kitchener, Hubspot and Shopify. Received experiential training in high demand industries such as digital marketing, e-commerce, customer discovery and persona development, google analytics, social media campaigns, setting up a CRM, e-mail segmentation and automation and project management. Applied newly learned skills through a Capstone Project in which we implemented a digital marketing campaign to grow a local small business. All training and experience was guided by industry experts from local digital marketing agencies in the form of a team coaches which provided yet another unique learning element to this highly competitive program.
